6 Important Words you should Say to your Children

Writing a letter to your child can be a magical experience. It is a great way to explain to them how much they mean beyond the power of spoken words. Whether you are writing a birthday card or just want to express your love, here are the 6 most important words you should include.

“LOVE”

Even if you say “I love you” every day, it is still something important to convey across to them.

“NOTICE”

Let them know what you have noticed about them, like how they have grown and how their positive characteristics have emerged.

“ENJOY”

Describe to them what you enjoy doing together, this will mean a lot to them! In years to come they may read it again and the letter will become important.

“PROUD”

When you tell your child what makes you proud, be specific. This is something that everyone longs to hear and your children will cherish it.

“CHERISH”

Share a few memories that mean a lot to you personally. These stories will be more memorable than any compliment.

“HOPE”

Take the time to share your hopes for your child, like their talents, dreams and friendships.
