Clovelly Beach
Gather the family and take a trip down to the scenic
Clovelly Beach. Although sharks, whales and dolphins are often seen in the
water, when the water is safe to swim in it is perfect for surfers and
sea-kayaks. Make sure to get there early to find a great spot on the sand!
Peers Cave Hike
There is an easy 20 minute hike to get to Peers Cave, which
starts a parking lot on Ou Kaapse Weg. However if you want to take a longer
route, drive up from Sun Valley, look out for the Peers Cave signs, park your
car off the road right before the San Michel Estate and start your journey!
Wind along Jager Walk
The coastal footpath, Jager’s Walk, in Fish Hoek, travelling
along the Indian Ocean is scattered with granite boulders and a lot of rock.
Make a day of it and stroll along the path, or cast a line from the rocks and
try catching a few fish.
Whale Watching
When you visit Jager’s Walk make sure to stop and enjoy the
bird’s eye view of the whales along the coast. Whales can often be seen close
to Fish Hoek beach – some have even beached there!
