If you are finding it hard to make time to
spend with your children and bond as a family, then sit down and jot down these
tips…
Draw up a weekend routine. Create a set
time for chores, such as Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. This way you can
get the chores done and enjoy the rest of the weekend without having to worry
about them.
Combine errands. Go to the bank, grocery
store and the pharmacy all in one go to save time as well as gas.
Create a system. If you have 5 loads of
laundry to get done, don’t do it all in one go because you’ll waste your entire
day. Rather spread out the laundry throughout the week and you’ll be able to
spend more time with the kids.
Tackle chores together. Getting your kids
to help might not seem fun at first, but it can turn into a nice time to bond.
Make a game of the cleaning or play “pick a chore”
Decide what you can leave undone. Yes, sometimes
it’s okay to leave the small stuff and make time for what is more important –
bonding with your children!
